Pyramid Builders Ltd was awarded the extensive Blockwork package on the Northern Ticket Hall at Kings Cross Station. This logicistically challenging project involved the construction of the Main Ticket Hall, together with a plant level and two passenger platform transit floors, all below ground level.
Plant and materials were craned down and manoeuvred by hand to each workface, with a team of operatives working at night to prepare for the day ahead.
Pyramid Builders Ltd also provided a team to work in areas of the station which were still in use. Our Rail & Underground team have the required certification to work ‘track side’ as neccessary.
