As part of the major renovation of Asprey’s flagship Bond Street store, Pyramid Builders Ltd undertook the supply of the Labour, Plant and Material brickwork element of this complicated, high profile project to completely refurbish the famous building. There was extensive structural brickwork to support the building in the basement, together with complete rebuild of external façades which would become feature centrepieces to the building, as per the Fosters and Partner’s design.

All facing bricks were hand-picked, second-hand stocks which were individually sourced in order to match the existing 19th century building. As with all city centre projects the logistics of distributing materials proved a challenge. However, careful planning and a close relationship between our site team and the project team proved the key to our success. The outcome is a terrific example of how brickwork forms a striking key feature in a refurbished building of this type.
