Pyramid were awarded the contract to extend the existing railway sheds at the Ealing Common Depot, continuing our excellent relationship with London Underground. Work to the 110 year old stabling and maintenance sheds were required to meet the infrastructure specifications to operate and maintain the new “S7” stock tube trains. During the project delivery period the depots remained fully operational for the current fleet of tube trains.
The sheds were extended to match the existing style in both brick construction methods and materials uses. Pyramid were able to provide a full management package including scaffolding and forklifts. In addition to the construction of new brickwork, our craftsmen were able to repair and make good existing damaged bricks.
Pyramid have a long and successful history of working with London Underground and are fully compliant with the procedures and requirements for working within this important sector.
